Guide for Authors
STRUCTURE OF THE PAPER
The articles must be in English. We recommend to organize the papers in the following order:
- Title (should be clear, descriptive and not too long)
- Name(s) of author(s)
- Affiliation(s)
- Present address(es) of author(s)
- Abstract
- Keywords (between 3 and 6), highlighting the main topics of the paper
- Introduction
- Material studied, area descriptions, methods, techniques
- Results and discussion
- Conclusion
- References
FORMAT
- Paper: A4 size (21x29,7 cm) portrait; 2,5 cm margins on all sides
- Font type: 12 pt Times New Roman (grouped style), Paragraph justified
- Spacing: Line spacing: Single; Spacing before: 0 pt; Spacing after: 6 pt
- No line or page numbers. No headers or footers
- Your maximum number of words is 3000, incl. figures, tables, references etc.
- Headings: Use a maximum of two levels of headings, numbered consecutively 1, 2, 2.1, 2.2, etc.
Do not number abstract and references
- Space before level-1-headings is 12pt, and 6pt after
- Space before & after level-2-headings is 6pt
- Level-1-headings should be in bold small capitals, level-2-headings in bold.
Tables & Figures
- Insert tables at the appropriate place in the text without embedding them into frames.
- Do not use links to external documents.
- Use only horizontal lines in tables, with a minimum width of 1 pt.
- Each table and figure must be followed by a source statement, and must explicitly be referred to in the text.
- Use automatic references to tables and figures.
- Tables should be numbered in Arabic numbers according to their sequence in the text.
- Avoid large tables.
- Tables should be clear without reading the text.
- Any necessary explanations essential for understanding the table should be given as a footnote at the bottom of the table.
Formulae
- Formulae should be typewritten.
- Subscripts and superscripts should be clear.
- Give the meaning of all symbols immediately after the equation in which they are first used.
- Equations should be numbered in Arabic numbers serially at the right-hand side in parentheses.
References
All references must be written in brackets (NÁBRÁDI, 2008). List of references must be in alphabetical order, ordered by author's name
Reference to a magazine or conference proceedings article:
- Author. Title of the article. Name and year of the conference or name, year and issue of the magazine (italics). Place and year of publishing. ISBN.
Reference to a book:
- Author. Title of the book (italics). Publisher, year and a place of publishing. ISBN.
Reference to a website:
- Author or institution. URL, eventually page title.
Example of the reference to a conference proceedings article:
- A. Nagy - A. Nábrádi (2007): Expected income review in the corporate measure aspect. International Conference on Applied Economics 2008 Kastoria, 2008.pp.709-712 ISBN 978-960-89054-2-09
File name
Name your file with the full name of the first author (Adrián_Nagy.doc).
